Originally released in 2005, Tea & Sympathy marked a turning point for Bernard Fanning. It was an opportunity to explore a more personal, introspective style of songwriting outside of Powderfinger. Featuring songs like “Wish You Well,” which topped the triple j Hottest 100 in 2005, and fan favourites like “Songbird” and “Watch Over Me”, the album debuted at #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart, remained in the Top 50 for over a year, and was certified 5× Platinum. It won ARIA Awards for Album of the Year, Best Male Artist, and Best Cover Art. Bernard was also named APRA Songwriter of the Year. Pressed in limited quantities, this special edition picture disc features the original artwork.
